The real problem is that Bell doesn’t actually have a GSM network they only have a UMTS network (HSPA is just data on UMTS). This wouldn’t be a problem if their UMTS network had been built ionizer the years like Rogers GSM network. Instead, Bell had made the decision to use WCDMA and since that’s not compatible with UMTS, new users can only use the smaller, newer network. If you’re on Rogers, at least when you lose UMTS, you can still use their GSM network.

no network on Bryna Ave in Hamilton, ontario special for a blackberry 8530 Curve, I get a LOT of dropped calls its so fustrating. I just got the phone a month a ago.
