Programming Your Samsung A920 Cell Phone for Bell Mobility

Using this short guide, we will hold your hand and walk you through the process of programming your phone number into your Samsung A920 Bell Mobility cell phone. Don’t worry; the process isn’t hard. In nine easy steps, you’ll have your phone programmed in no time. And you’ll save up to $25 on in-store programming fees.
So, let’s get started! First, though, turn your phone on. If you are using your battery and do not have your phone plugged into your charger, check to ensure that the battery has at least two bars’ worth of charge.
Step 1: Press this series of buttons on your phone: [#][#][6][7][5].
Step 2: Press the [OK] button.
Step 3: Enter the six-digit Lock Code that was provided for you by Bell Mobility. The screen will display SVC MENU. Please note: If you do not have your Lock Code, contact Bell Mobility customer service by phone at 1-800-667-0123. Or you can watch our video Activating Your Bell Cell Phone at bell.ca to find out how to get your Lock Code.
Step 4: Press [2] for EDIT.
Step 5: Enter your ten-digit cell phone number, including your area code, into the MOBILE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (MIN) field. If there is already a number in that field, you can erase it by pressing the [BACK] key.
Step 6: Press the [OK] button.
Step 7: Press [OK] again. The screen will display the electronic serial number (ESN).
Step 8: Press the [RIGHT LAUNCH PAD] key.
Step 9: Press [3] for DONE. Your phone will shut down and restart by itself.
And you’re done. You’ve just programmed your Samsung A920 cell phone for Bell Mobility.
Now that you’ve programmed your phone number, your phone should be ready to use, as long as it has already been activated by Bell. If you have not yet activated your phone, you can have it done in the store or, if you’re a do-it-yourselfer, you can watch our video Activating Your Bell Cell Phone at bell.ca for a complete set of instructions.

Hello,
Does this process also work for Bell Samsung m320 phones? If not, can you let me know what to do? Thank you!

@Lissa thanks for the post!
Sorry I have not tested this process on a Bell Samsung m320 but Samsung uses a standard format for most phones. So give it a try, and the best part is that you cannot do any damage to your phone in trying.
Good luck and thanks again for the post!

the sequence of pushing ##675 is this done on the main area?
I have tried this and after I push “ok” it wants me to save the entry
Is there something I’m overlooking?

@ Clarence, thanks for the great question.
The instructions provided will work with all Samsung A920’s for Bell Mobility. If the instructions are not working, perhaps you’re phone is not originally a Bell phone.
Other things you can try…
Make sure that are pressing the [OK] button and not the [TALK] button.
Reset you phone: [Menu] -> [Settings] -> [Security] -> [User Lock] -> [Reset Phone] Warning: this will erase all of your settings.
Worse case scenereo, take your phone into a Bell World / Espace Bell store for assistance. There’s a good change they will charger you but it may be worth the charge.
Thanks again for the question - I hope this helps!
