@Jack
Thanks for the question.
The Nokia 2730 is a GSM/HSPA/UMTS phone that is compatible with Bell Mobility’s newest network.
If you’ve purchased your Nokia from Bell Mobility the process to activate your phone should be relatively simple… simply insert an activated Bell SIM card.
If you didn’t purchase your phone from Bell and it is unlocked then instructions in the blog post below will help:

I programmed my phone and my Tour is showing up on the website but no data or voice is going to my phone. Any ideas?

@Phil
Thanks for the question.
If you’ve followed our online instructions on how to program your Bell Mobility Tour 9630 and cannot use voice or data services it could be due to a couple of common reasons:
1. ) Ensure that you programmed your exact mobile number into your Tour. If you programmed the wrong number into your Bell 9630 (or any CDMA phone) none of your communication services will work.
2.) Bell advises that changes made through their system may take as much as 4 hours to be completed. Although most of our activations are completed within a few minutes, there are times when it does take much longer. Some days Bell.ca is not as fast as others, so be patient.
3.) Some process was not completed during the process (on Bell Mobility’s system). In some rare instances you may do everything right, but if Bell’s system is down, or experiencing some technical difficulties your update may not be processed properly. To resolve this contact Bell Mobility Customer Service 1 800-667-0123, and it they say everything looks good, call Bell Mobility Data Support Team / Technical Solutions (open 24hours) 1 (877) DATA-123 (1 877-328-2123)
4.) You’ve purchased a lemon. Sometimes the problem is with the phone. If your Bell Mobility Tour 9630 has water damage, or some other type of damage, the communications features may not function. If you purchased your unit from a store, I recommend that you return it for refund or replacement. Cellarama phones are tested to confirm that they do not have water damage, we also include a warranty that covers issues like this if they arise.
I hope that this — short
— reply helped.
Thanks again,
