How to Program Your Bell Mobility Samsung U740 Cell Phone

Using this short guide, we will walk you through the process of programming your phone number into your Samsung U740 for Bell Mobility. Don’t worry; the process isn’t difficult.  In six easy steps, you’ll have your phone programmed in no time.  And you’ll save up to $25 on in-store programming fees.

So, let’s get started!

Step 1: Turn phone on – if using a battery, check to ensure battery is fully charged

Step 2: Press [#][#] and then your six-digit Lock Code. If you do not have your Lock Code, contact Bell Mobility customer service by phone at 1-800-667-0123. Or watch our video Activating Your Bell Cell at bell.ca to find out how to get your Lock Code.

Step 3: Press 2 to enter programming.

Step 4: Enter in your ten-digit cell phone number (MIN), including the area code. Press OK.

Step 5: Press OK.

Step 6: Press 3, Phone will display “Service Done” and will turn off and then restart.

And you’re done. You’ve just programmed your Samsung U740 phone for Bell Mobility.

    I found that the key sequence in step two needed an additional # key after the lock code. I was doing this on a U440 which I couldn’t see any instructions for so I tried this one and with the extra final # stroke it worked.
