How to play music and video from your Bell Samsung A920 Cell Phone

This short guide will show you the steps you need to take to successfully play media (audio and video) from your Samsung A920 for Bell Mobility cell phone.
Important! Your Bell Samsung A920 will only play mp3 and aac file types. I prefer aac files to mp3 files because they give you the same quality but are a smaller file size (this means you can stuff more music and videos onto your memory card).
Also, the maximum memory card capacity for the A920 is 2GB so don’t try using the 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB cards.
Step 1. On your computer, insert your MicroSD card into your computer’s memory card slot. If you do not have a memory card slot on your computer you can find very inexpensive USB adapters for MicroSD cards.
Step 2. Create a folder on the MicroSD memory Card called “Media”
Step 3. Add your music and video files into the folder titled “Media”
Step 4. Insert the MicroSD card into the MicroSD slot of the Samsung A920
Step 5. Press the MENU/OK button and select the “Media Player” icon
Step 6. Select the “Memory Card” option
Step 7. You should see a list of the media files you downloaded to the memory card
Step 8. Select one… that’s it!
There are a lot of free online resources where you can find mp3 music files to download (great for testing these steps if you don’t have any mp3 files ready). Try googling this “free mp3 downloads” and you will find some great sites. For this tutorial I used http://www.mp3fusion.net/ and downloaded Mariah Carey’s Obsessed from their “Top 10 Downloads” section.
Good luck,
Enjoy your media experience!
