How to Program Your Bell Mobility Sanyo Katana 6600

In nine easy steps, you’ll have your phone programmed in no time. And you’ll save up to $25 on in-store programming fees.

So let’s get started!

First, though, turn your phone on. If you are using your battery and do not have your phone plugged into your charger, check to ensure that the battery has at least two bars’ worth of charge.

Step 1: Press this series of buttons on your phone: [#][#][your six-digit Lock Code][#]. The screen will display MDN SERVICE PROGRAMMING. Please note: If you do not have your Lock Code, contact Bell Mobility customer service by phone at 1-800-667-0123. Or watch our video Activating Your Bell Cell Phone at bell.ca to find out how to get your Lock Code.

Step 2: Press the MENU/OK key (centre key)

Step 3: Scroll to Edit and press MENU/OK.

Step 4: Screen will display Mobile Number (MDN).

Step 5: If there is a number in the field erase and then key in your 10-digit mobile number & press MENU/OK.

Step 6: Screen will display MSID.

Step 7: Once again, key in 10-digit mobile number & press MENU/OK.

Step 8: Scroll to _Done_ and press MENU/OK.

Step 9: Phone will power cycle to complete the programming.

And you’re done. You’ve just programmed your Sanyo Katana 6600 phone for Bell Mobility.

Now that you’ve programmed your phone number, your phone should be ready to use as long as it has already been activated by Bell. In five easy steps, you’ll have your phone programmed in no time.  And you’ll save up to $25 on in-store programming fees.

So let’s get started.

Step 1: Turn phone on – if using a battery check to ensure that it is fully charged.

Step 2: Press [#][#], then your six-digit Lock Code, then [#] to enter the programming menu.

For example, if your Lock Code is 987655, then you will enter [#][#]987655[#]. If you do not have your Lock Code, contact Bell Mobility customer service by phone at 1-800-667-0123. Or watch our video Activating Your Bell Cell at bell.ca to find out how to get your Lock Code.

Step 3: Select MDN and enter in your ten-digit cell phone number (MDN), including the area code. Press SAVE.

Step 5: Your phone will power off and then turn on again.

And you’re done. You’ve just programmed your LG Shine phone for Bell Mobility.

Step 5: In the IMSI_S field, go to the end of the existing phone number.  Click the [DEL] button to remove the existing number.

Step 6: Enter in your ten-digit cell phone number, including the area code.

Step 7: Press the track ball to view the menu.

Step 8: Highlight the SAVE option and press in the track wheel to select it. You will see the message WRITE SUCCESSFUL. RESETTING DEVICE appear briefly and then your BlackBerry Curve 8330 will shut down. It will restart on its own.

And you’re done. You’ve just programmed your BlackBerry Curve 8330 phone for Bell Mobility.
