HTC HD7 is one of the first phones with Windows Phone 7 operating system to arrive at Bell. Microsoft took their sweet time to release a mobile OS that can compete with iPhone and Android phones, but many people think that they got it right with WP7 at least from the point of view of the user interface, if nothing else. HTC HD7 with Windows Phone 7 OS from Microsoft, has been available in USA since the WP7 launch in November, but fortunately for WP7 fans, it’s finally coming over to Canada on February 10th. The device has already started shipping to Bell Mobility on February 2nd, so it’s more than a done deal. Sales will start in a few days and the phone will be exclusive to Bell. (more…)
It looks like Canadians no longer have to wait for hot smartphones to be available on their favorite networks. While RIM phones have been a given for Canadians, Android smartphones didn’t come to Canada until this year, and that happened pretty slowly.
Microsoft wants to make a big splash with its new mobile operating system “Windows Phone 7″, and so the Windows Phone 7 devices will appear on as many networks as possible, early on. Bell is one of these networks, and it will get its first WP7 phone – the LG Optimus Quantum – on November 2nd.
