The Blackberry Curve line-up was pretty excellent and probably RIM’s best built devices ever, but they are being left behind by more modern phones, that have access not only to a much better browser, but also apps.

Phone launching delays seem to have become a habit of RIM lately. The Blackberry Style was supposed to launch back in November, but it has been delayed because of certain technical issues. Well, it looks like Bell Mobility will finally start selling Blackberry Style on December 9th.

Blackberry Style 9670 is the latest phone from RIM and it comes in a clamshell form factor, which is not RIM’s “style” in general, but it will appeal to some consumers who want their phones to occupy as least space as possible.

The Blackberry Bold 9780 has been rumored to come to Bell Mobility on November 2nd. Unfortunately, there seem to be some delays and Bell has notified retailers that the phone will be delayed until further notice. They didn’t give any reason why the delay is happening, but it’s apparently the same reason why Blackberry Torch was delayed – some last minute OS fixes.

Bell Mobility has announced that the new Blackberry Bold 9780 is coming to their network on November 2nd. This phone will be available in both white and black, it will have a 2.4″ HVGA display (480×360 resolution), 512 RAM, 5 MP camera with Flash, Wi-Fi, and a QWERTY keyboard you’re used to from other Blackberry Bold devices.

Sprint is launching RIM’s Blackberry Style 9670 phone with the new Blackberry OS 6.0 on October 31st, which means it will be only a matter of time before Bell Mobility has it, too.

After being delayed for a little bit, Blackberry Torch is finally available at Bell stores and The Source locations across Canada. Eager customers can get it for $180 upfront and a 3 year contract, which is $20 less than what Rogers is selling it for. To get it for this price you’ll need at least $50 voice and data plan, but if you’d prefer to get it unlock then you’ll need to pay $600 to get it.
