Bell HTC Raider 4G LTE – Canada’s First LTE Phone
Now that Bell Mobility has just started rolling out its LTE network, it needed a LTE phone, too. Here comes the HTC Raider to rescue – Canada’s first LTE phone. Let’s take a look inside to see what kind of performance and Internet speeds this phone is bringing.
The Bell HTC Raider 4G LTE is now Canada’s fastest smartphone. It can each speeds of up to 75 Mbps on LTE and up to 42 Mbps on HSPA, which will make it very easy to view streaming videos, even in HD, on its large 4.5″ display. The phone is also fast, sporting a dual core 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm processor, so you won’t be slowed down much by the processing speed when you browse the web.
The phone has a 8 MP back camera, which can capture 1080p video, and a 1.3 MP front-camera for video chatting. It also comes with 1 GB of RAM, 13 GB of internal storage, and a microSD slot if you want to expand the storage with another 32 GB. It’s running Android 2.3, which is the latest Android version in the market right now, and you’ll get access to over 300,000 applications from the Android Market.
The Bell HTC Raider 4G LTE is available right now at Bell Mobility for $600 unlocked, or $150 with a 3 year contract. You also get the option to buy it with 1 year or 2 year contracts, but the options don’t seem worth it at all, because they are both over $500. So you’re better off buying it unlocked or with a 3 year contract.
